Statistics showed that a total of 66,200 funeral service institutions across the country provided on-site memorial services, with 330,900 staff members participating in service guarantee work. Throughout the day, a total of 12.7107 million people participated in on-site memorial activities, a decrease of 58.64% compared to the previous day; 2.8478 million vehicles were guided, a decrease of 58.47% compared to the previous day. Among them, 8.2081 million people chose green and low-carbon memorial methods such as flower memorial, accounting for 64.58% of the total number of people participating in on-site memorial activities; 775 online memorial platforms served 238,700 memorial participants. Throughout the day, funeral service institutions buried 8,778 cremains, of which 338 were buried in ecological ways such as sea burial and tree burial, accounting for 3.85% of the total number of burials that day. Civil affairs departments and funeral service institutions in various regions strictly implemented various service guarantee measures, solidly carried out services to benefit the people, and actively guided civilized, green, and low-carbon memorial activities.
