Specifically, railway passenger volume is expected to reach 57.679 million, with an average of 19.23 million per day, marking an increase of 8.2% year-on-year. Highway passenger volume is projected to be 778.45 million, with an average of 259.48 million per day, up 5.8% year-on-year. Waterway passenger volume is anticipated to be 3.725 million, with an average of 1.24 million per day, representing a 9.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Civil aviation passenger volume is forecasted to be 5.524 million, with an average of 1.84 million per day, down 1.3% year-on-year.

This year, the spring break and Qingming Festival holidays in primary and secondary schools across the country have sparked a travel boom, primarily focused on family and parent-child trips. This has created a comprehensive consumption scenario encompassing transportation services, cultural tourism accommodations, dining and retail, as well as energy replenishment.

On the first day of the holiday, the traffic volume on highways nationwide exceeded 62.67 million vehicles, with new energy vehicles accounting for over 14 million. The robust demand for self-driving travel drove double-digit growth in consumption at scenic spots, hotels, and car rental services.
